 Who Cares If it's good , it's Got Milla !!
Sony Pictures is about ready to release what may be a movie matinee masterpiece in their new sci-fi film " UltraViolet " . Set in an alternate earth where science has developed a virus that mutates humans into " super soldiers " and then decides they are too dangerous to exist , there's not much when it comes to originality in the plot . . . basically another video game film . Still it has at least a couple things going for it . . . Killer Babes with Swords and Guns !! Milla Jovovich stars as the title character Violet , who is basically reprising another variation of her previous roles in The Fifth Element and the Resident Evil films . I'm not complaining ; Milla makes a great bad girl considering her thin angular Ukrainian looks . I personally LIKE it when glamour models go bad . Milla is so talented she can make crap worthwhile ( as evidenced by the Res Evil films ) and on those occassions when she's in a truly great film ( hence " the 5th Element " ) she shines brighter than the sun itself .I'm not looking toward the release of UltraViolet as being one of those movies that knocks my socks off ( but , like Spielberg's " War of The Worlds " , I may find myself surprised ) , I'm quite looking forward to Milla as a killer babe again , moreso , with the very obvious influence of Takara's Cool Girl action figure in the look of Milla's character . Can you detect Marketing Potential here ?  Since movies are made nowadays in order to sell more than just themselves , I can only hope that we''ll be seeing a quality action figure of UltraViolet . Her look is so attuned to Takara's Cool Girl series I am hopeful that the CG Version is already in the works , though I could probably settle for a Sideshow version . From the signature shades , ultra modern fashions UltraViolet's costume designers definitely had their fingers on the pulse of cyber mod clothing ; if not actually having a couple of CG's on their shelves .  Get Ready For Customs !
As soon as I saw the trailer for UltraViolet , I began anticipating the Cool Girl customs that are soon to be popping up at eBay based on her character . Some careful browsing and a skillful customizer can pretty much build any version of her costuming from various loose sets of CG outfits that litter the auction block at eBay ; it's just a matter of time till someone finishes their piece and lists it .
