  I waited a long time to begin paint ops on IronMan , mainly because I wasn't sure how I wanted to approach that aspect of him . As I have continued to develop the premise of the RobotHunters , I decided to utilize the IronMan figure as a combat drone for the Stellar Marines . To that end I chose a color scheme that would incorporate the colors used in my Armoured Core Sanchez figure .  With the figured given its primer base , I next did an overall layer of flat black acrylic . I then began to pick and choose those areas I wanted silver and did a drybrush app . The same was done for those sections I wanted to emulate the metallic dark olive drab . These two colors will most likely constitute the basic color scheme , though I will probably also throw in some gold and possibly white elements as well . The eyes are not painted , they are digitally photoshopped optics .
