 RobotHunters : The Global Defence Initiative's Airbourne Units
  Any visitor to Geeb-O-Rama should know that I have a weakness for Dragon's Amy figure . Having kept the stock paint op for my " Bad Amy " custom , I had yet to do anything with my second Amy figure . Having substituted the Armoury body from the FunToy's Armoured Core Custom for the Dragon Amy bod simply for the sake of increasing the poseability dynamics required by the awesome yet limiting design of the Armoured Core armor suit , I found myself with the pleasant problem of what to do with the Amy headsculpt . Fortunately my fixation with model/actress Josie Bisset helped make this quandary an easy one to solve . For a brief moment I thought about repainting Amy with red hair , but realized that as a blonde I could pay homage to one of my all time favorite TV sex sirens , Josie Bisset , memorable from her role as the much put upon " Jane Mancini " from Aaron Spelling's masterpiece of nightime soap's " Melrose Place " .  Outfitting a member of the Global Airbourne Unit of the Global Defence Initiative came about just by rummaging thru my " parts bin " . The catsuit from one of my eBay wins , a FunToys' custom started the process , and with its material which matched that of the Funtoys' catsuit used for my Kissy Honey custom , the beginnings of another member of the airforce for " RobotHunters " commenced .  The Armoury body from the FunToys' custom came without feet , so I dremeled out the legs in order to substitute the feet left over from one of my Yamato bodies . I wanted this figure to have short boots , and since it was a military themed figure decided upon using the boots from Dragon's 101st Airborne Jennifer figure . Jennifer's boots were khaki , so a repaint was required , nothing major , just a color change . I used standard run-of-the-mill cheap craft acrylics and sealed the final paint with a matte artists' fixatif . The same paints were used to repaint Amy's hair .The hair paint ops were done from dark to light , building up the layers of color in a combination of drybrushing and washes . Sgt.Kattaloon | Cmdr.
