 Writer Beau Smith and I have a friendship that goes back a ways . Beau was instrumental in helping me break into the comic industry as well as keeping my spirits up through those periods of rejection . We collaborated on a few things , the comic book " B movie " Parts Unknown , Guy Gardner : Warrior , Spawn and even Femforce . I never had the opportunity to work on Wynonna the comic , other than helping develop the look of the character back in the initial days of development , but she's a classic Beau heroine and one I've always loved . It was inevitable that I customize an action figure of her .   Back in 1983 I musta chunked in around $12.50 in quarters at a nearby gumball machine in order to get my hands on a small scale Colt .45 revolver . I've kept it over the years as a treasured heirloom , waitin' for the proper custom job to come along . Originally it was going to be used for a resin kit bash of AC Comics' " Buckaroo Betty " but has at last found its context some 22 years later in my Cool Girl Kit Bash of Beau's " Wynonna Earp " . If pistolas could talk I know it would tell me how happy it was . Takara's " Cool Girls " or their US incarnation from Blue Box Intl (BBi) " Cy Girls " are the perfect action figure to take on the role of the Gun Slinging Granddaughter of LawDog Wyatt Earp , having none of the vacuous endowments of " Barbie" . Cool Girls are TUFF! The hard part was deciding which CG to use for Wynonna . I'm still not completely decided , though I'm gravitatin' between Sky and Blaze , Sky has a very sexy " cool " look to her , but Blaze has a really sexy " hardness " to her features . Decisions,decisions .  This is Blaze as Wynonna .
