 Forget Michelle and Halle , Catwoman has really only had THREE Lives!!
Julie Newmar's tall slinky looks really made her , for me , the definitive Catwoman and her roots in dance gave her the graceful
movements that go hand in hand with the feline persona .Next you had Eartha Kitt , who broke new ground on TeeVee by being the first black incarnation of DC's sexy siren to Adam
West's Batman . Eartha was excellent in being not just sexy , but very powerful and dangerous and brought a very tangible feeling of ruthlessness to the character . Her voice also contributed a lot to her portrayal , having a very raw and passionate quality .Lee Meriweather , while only playing Catwoman once ( in the theatrical release ) was not quite as catlike as Newmar , nor as
exotic as Eartha , but as a stand-in Newmar definitely kept up the sex appeal needed for Catwoman . Bashing The New Takara Catwoman  Takara's new CG Catwoman is
based on Jim Lee's version of thecharacter from the Batman " Hush " storyline , and while being an excellent figure really isn't the Catwoman that is in my mind's eye which will be forever jaded by William Dozier's campy Batman TeeVee series . It didn't take me very long to start
bashing my eagerly anticipated new CG ,and my entire focus was recapturing the "sexpot " Catwoman . Initially I supplanted the stock CG head with AJ Mcleod's which actually looks quite stunning as a Catwoman . However , CG Ruby has the hair and face sculpt that captures un- touched a very nice resemblance to Julie Newmar's Catwoman , and with some additional paint ops and some styling to her hair could pull off quite the simple transformation of a Newmar inspired Catwoman representation .  Just for giggles I decided to try out Dreams and Visions Miss fear headsculpt on the Catwoman figure , and it too has a fun , more animated look to the figure .
