Cool Girl Ruby , CG-12 , Operation Blue Lightning was released and Out of Production by the time I discovered Takara's Action Girl line so I had to wait for the re-release of the Alternative Version before I could addd her to my collection . Compared to the original , the AV was a bit bland , the paint ops were minimal and I absolutely hated her hair . By the time Ruby joined my collection I was already customizing practically all my girls and I knew that I wanted to give Ruby a new look I just didn't know what I wanted to do with her . She languished in the parts bin for around two years . SIGH . I've spent the past couple of months finishing up a lot of my commenced but not finished customs , and Ruby at last got pulled from oblivion really due to the fact that Iwanted to utilize one of the dresses I purchased from fellow customizer and seamstress at MWD An42 . It only took me two days to really develop her concept , and that was facilitated by her hair style and dressing in Andrea's Pink Frilly Lolita dress .   I have been wanting to play around with the " Shoolgirl/Lolita " motif for a while , something a bit lighter in style than Malicia of " Dark Babylon " who was my first Schoolgirl Lolita custom . Citing my inspiration is easy , Project AKO , Femforce's SYNN the Girl from LSD are foremost along with the crazy Japanese Anime scene . I had all the raw material for BioSaber Ruby in my Parts Bins , various bits and pieces of costuming , the weapons from my Onimusya figure and of course that wonderful lolita dress from An42 .  At least now I have a title for a Photostory , should I increase my collection of anime inspired schoolgirl lolitas , and most likely I probably will ; after all , I want to expand my collection into Obitsus eventually . Ruby is a good start I think .  You can't be a real anime heroine without a signature power pose , so Ruby got hers .
